Ghanaian comedian hot over joke about Sarkodie’s daughter

Budding Ghanaian comedian, Comedian Waris, has come under the spotlight after his joke of a tweet went totally wrong.
The comedian on Wednesday attempted to make a joke about Sarkodie’s daughter “Titi” but ended up making a comment many described as sexist.
He posted a photo of Sarkodie and his daughter, saying Titi will soon be ripe for sex.
Sarkodie’s daughter is becoming RIPE. Very soon, we people ill tear and eat ,” he wrote.
However, this did not go down well with many Ghanaians in general, who labelled him a paedophile.
The fury of social media users forced Comedian Waris to apologise after later realising he had committed a blunder.
“To anyone offended by my tweet concerning sarkodie’s daughter kindly tamper [sic] justice with mercy.
“Especially to @sarkodie @TracySarkcess @thenanaaba @Santokh72 @bridgetot
“I’m apologetically sorry, it won’t happen again.
To ere [sic] is human, to forgive is divine,” he wrote to apologise, while deleting the earlier tweet.
