Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey reiterated plans by government to include promotion of the French language in basic schools and across all other educational levels and labelled it as part of a general reform in Ghana’s educational sector. ‘I dumped my 'MP' boyfriend’ - Kumawood Actress

Kumawood teen actress, Maame Yaa Jackson, has revealed that she once dated a Member of Parliament (MP) but dumped him because he failed to provide all her needs. The MP, she stated, refused to open a makeup shop for her because she was not sleeping with him. According to her, it will not be in the best of a poor guy to date her because she will likely cheat on him to get her needs provided. Yaa Jackson explained that as a lady, she has lot of needs such as owning a brand new (tear rubber) car which a poor man cannot provide... Abena crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2018

A 19-year-old Abena, representing the Eastern Region, has been adjudged the winner of this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful beauty pageant. She narrowly beat competition from three other finalists – Ohema from the Brong Ahafo, Wekia from the Upper East and Afrah from the Ashanti region – to wear the coveted crown and hold the bragging rights for the next year. Abena, who has been consistent with her performances throughout the 13-week competition and won the most coveted “Star performer” title four times, proved at the grand finale on Sunday night that she was the obvious choice for the crown, cash and the car. Aside earning the most votes from the public, she put in her all to ensure she secured an overwhelming victory. Her performances for the final night received praises from the judges and loud applause from the audience.
